The Republic of Moldova presented its e-Transformation Agenda within the International Forum dedicated to Open Data [3]
January 31, 2014. The Center for Electronic Governance, represented by Irina Tisacova - Open Data Coordinator, took part in a worldwide meeting dedicated to open data and their responsibilities within the new development framework.
The event was organized by the United Nations Development Group (UNDG) with the support from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and was held from 29 to 31 January 2014.
The Forum aims at promoting a common understanding of the „data revolution” concept and creating a global partnership for data development and division of responsibilities as to implement the set agenda by 2015.
The Representative of the Center for Electronic Governance presented the priorities of the e-Transformation Agenda Moldova for 2014 and talked about the open data concept development in our country.
The international open data forum brought together experts from governments, parliaments, international organizations, bilateral and multilateral development agencies, civil society, private sector and the academic environment, all interested in the open data concept.
