Two months after the launch, the portal date.gov.md [6] comprises over 130 public data sets. Other 60 data sets are being processed.

The Public Procurement Agency ranked first by the number of published data, followed by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health.

So far, date.gov.md [6] had 6,690 unique visitors, almost 24,000 views and about 12,717 downloads.

Date.gov.md portal was created under the "Free access to government public data" initiative. According to a decision of the Prime-Minister, Vlad Filat, the ministries, public authorities, government agencies and institutions must identify monthly three data sets to be published. 

Moldova was the 16th country in the world to join the "Open Data" initiative, providing access to government public data.
