„MConnect” – digital solution for streamlining the interaction between the state institutions [3]
During March 23-25, the e-Government centre organized a range of workshops dedicated to the MConnect government interoperability platform, which was attended by representatives of the Central Public Authorities (CPA) that will administrate the platform as soon as it is launched.
„The MConnect government interoperability platform will enable public authorities to exchange data in real time, exempting them to require citizens and businesses to provide certificates, reports etc. The next step consists in the public authorities connecting their information systems and data bases to the MConnect platform so as to reduce the administrative burden on the business environment and citizens” Stela Mocan – director of the e-Government centre stated.
The MConnect government interoperability and data exchange platform aims at excluding redundancy in the public sector and is implemented according to the provisions of the EU interoperability program.
Currently, the MConnect platform is at its piloting stage, with eight public instructions of the Republic of Moldova participating in it.
