
5 years of e-Transformation with the e-Government Center [3]
On 18 august E-Government Center marked the 5 year anniversary of dynamic and innovative activity of the E-Government Center. Throughout these years, the public agenda included the most revolutionary and effective technologies made available to the Government, businesses and citizens.
It is a defining period in which the infrastructure and all the tools required to provide quality public services online were set up.
It is this e-infrastructure that today makes possible full use of advantages of cloud computing (MCloud / G-Cloud), mobile technologies (Mobile eID), successful implementation and use of online payments (MPay) and platform of e-Registries and e-Authorities (PGRAP), and reuse of these tools by government agencies reconfigure relationship between public institutions and citizens, the latter benefiting from faster and lower cost e-sectoral services.

These achievements are the result of a commitment to innovation and professionalism and collaboration between state coordinators for e-Transformation, sectoral ministries and external partners.
The e-Government Center, as vector of technological innovations, provides electronic services and tools that by achieving the main objective - combating bureaucracy and corruption, promotes transparency and efficiency as key principles of e-Government.
Through constant efforts for integration of information technologies in public institutions, opening public government data and hence by streamlining the government process, the e-Government Center pursues the major objective of sustainable development of the state.
A modern state can only develop by exploring as much as possible the potential of informational technology and through e-Transformation of government.
e-Government Center is a public institution established on the initiative of the Prime Minister in August 2010, subordinated to the State Chancellery, which pursues Technological modernization of the Government till 2020, and aims primarily developed use by public institutions, businesses and citizens, of the potential of digital technologies. The e-Transformation of Government projects are financed by the World Bank.
