
18 librarians from Novateca network were granted the title of “eAmbassadors” [3]
On March 25, 2016, the training of librarians from Novateca [6] network, previously selected to become eAmbassadors of the e-Government Centre begun. The training will take 2 months, time in which the 18 librarians will be familiarised with the electronic services and their advantages. Subsequently, the eAmbassadors will share their knowledge and will encourage the visitors of libraries to use the eServices.
Within the event, the librarians were informed about the advantages and the simplicity of performing online payments via MPay [7] Government E-Payment Gateway and about the Mobile Signature. At the same time, for o better practice, the eAmbassadors lodged an online application in order to obtain an electronic signature, accessed the portal servicii.gov.md in real time, required a civil status certificate and lodged the income declaration.
After the 2 months of training, the eAmbassadors will receive a certificate, which will allow them to inform the citizens, other librarians and the business environment on the use of public electronic services. Subsequently, the library where the eAmbassador will act shall become a one-stop shop for requesting eServices. The second session will take place on April 01, time in which the librarians form Novateca network will learn how to use and offer support regarding the access of services intended for the business environment.
